The Valley Industry Association is set to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and swear in its Board of Directors for 2013 during a special luncheon scheduled Dec. 18.
“It’s been a banner year for VIA, and we’re excited about the year ahead,” VIA CEO/President Kathy Norris said. “Our installation luncheon is a great opportunity for all of our members to celebrate VIA’s incoming leadership and congratulate our 2012 leaders on a job well done.”
The installation ceremonies will be held at the monthly VIA luncheon, 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Valencia Country Club.
Diana Meyer, of Logix Credit Union, 2012 Chairwoman of the Board, will present a closing address. Incoming Chairman Alan DiFatta, of Accurate Freight Systems, will offer his vision for the coming year.
Scott Wilk, the newly elected 38th District California State Assemblyman, will be present to officiate at the swearing in and to assure that each member of the newly installed board accepts his or her formal oath of office.
Reservations are required. Those who reserve by Dec. 6 pay just $35, and reservations made Dec. 7-13 cost $45. Non-members and those reserving after Dec. 14 pay $50 if seats are still available.
